Teach Children to Save

Approximately 200 Bank of Hawaii volunteers visited schools in Hawaii and the West Pacific as part of the “Teach Children to Save” national campaign. More than 3,000 students were encouraged to develop lifelong savings habits and learn more about making smart financial decisions.

Get Smart About Credit

Each year, hundreds of high school students across Hawaii plus hundreds more on Guam, Saipan, American Samoa and Palau, receive free lessons from Bank of Hawaii employees on how to handle credit. Our employee volunteers are heading back to local classrooms on “Get Smart About Credit Day.”
