Bankoh CoverCheck is an unsecured line of credit that will automatically transfer funds to your linked checking account in $50 increments, up to your available credit limit, to cover overdrafts*.

Please gather the following items for all applicants:

• Valid email address
• Social Security number (or tax identification number)
• Bank of Hawaii Checking Account number that will be linked to your CoverCheck account

Requirements for all applicants:

• 18 years or older
• Residents of Hawaii or Guam may apply online using a valid email address or at a branch
• Residents of Saipan must apply at a branch
• Existing Bank of Hawaii personal checking account

Important considerations:

• Credit limits from $250 to $5,000
• To protect your personal information, you will receive a timeout warning after 15 minutes of inactivity.
• The following checking account types are ineligible for overdraft (OD) protection from a CoverCheck account: EASE by Bank of Hawaii, accounts held in trust, accounts with existing OD protection from savings (OD protection from savings may be terminated).
• To apply online you must consent to sign your loan documents electronically via electrionic signature. If you prefer to sign your loan documents in person, please visit any Bank of Hawaii branch to submit your application.
• CoverCheck is only available for eligible checking accounts that are fully opened. If you recently opened your account online, you may apply for a CoverCheck once the account has been successfully funded and is available for use.
